Almonds are packed with protein and vitamin E. Blueberries are packed with antioxidants that help protect your brain cells from free-radicals (unpaired electrons), and also contain anthocyanins, powerful phytochemicals that boost brain function and help keep your heart healthy. Kale is full of chlorophyll, vitamin C and iron, and one of the healthiest vegetables you can eat.
- 1 cup of fresh blueberries
- 1½ cups of unsweetened almond milk
- 1 banana
- 1 cup kale
- 5 unsalted whole almonds
- Honey to taste (optional)
Add a little green superfood powder, such as chlorophyll and spirulina for the extra nourishment. Enjoy!
